Eligible Applicants:
Any graduating senior of a Northeast
Missouri High School may apply
 Family must be a member of Northeast Missouri Old Threshers for the past two years.
1. Amount of Scholarship:
The scholarship is a nonrenewable $250.00 award.
2. Selection:
A. Two winners will be selected one female and one male.
B. Although the intent is to award these scholarships every year, after reviewing the
application, the committee may elect not to designate a recipient for any given year.
3. Criteria:
A. Financial need.
B. Academic performance.
C. Interest of history in Agriculture.
D. Character and citizenship.
4. Announcement of Winners:
A. The winner and his/her school counselor will be notified.
B. Scholarship certificate will be awarded at school ceremony.
5. Money and Time Schedules:
A. Complete application must be returned to high school counselor no later than March 20th.
B. Selection of winners will be made no later than April 20th.
C. The winner must notify Club Treasurer of their college enrollment no later than August 1.
D. Upon presentation of paid receipt from the winner’s college, showing enrollment, the club
treasurer will mail a check for the scholarship amount directly to the winner.
E. The recipient must commence his or her education no later than January of year following
the year in which the scholarship is awarded. The recipient must attend an accredited
university, college, or trade school.
