Elizabeth Garret

She was born 9th of June 1936 , in
Whitechapel London . She was the
first woman to qualify as doctor .
She set up a hospital for poor women
and children in London . Then sadly
she died on the 17th of December ,
1917 (Age 81) .
She is best known for being the
first and first only qualified
doctor . She was very helpful to
those who were sick and had
nothing .
