The Department of Psychology at Glendon College, York University, invites applications for a tenure stream
appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. This appointment will commence on July 1, 2015. For a more

CONTEXT: Glendon College is the bilingual (French-English) liberal arts Faculty of York University. It offers a
variety of programs, mostly in the humanities and social sciences. It is located on a separate, mid-town campus.

POSITION: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in psychobiology,
human neuropsychology and related areas, graduate teaching and supervision, and will pursue a well-established
research program in neuropsychology. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching and
scholarly research and be eligible for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. It is further
expected that the successful candidate will serve as Director of the Centre for Cognitive Health at Glendon, as
well as carry out service responsibilities for the Department, the Faculty and/or the University.
CRITERIA: The successful candidate must be fluently bilingual (French-English) and must be able to teach in
these two languages, hold a Ph.D. in clinical neuropsychology or related field and extensive background in agerelated cognitive disorders (including publications in the area) and practical hands-on experience with clinical
populations. He/she should also have an established record at attracting undergraduate and graduate students,
as well as postdoctoral fellows, and running bilingual practicum and internship programs.
APPOINTMENT: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All positions at York University
are subject to budgetary approval.
