Executive Summary
Countless factors can cause new enterprises to fail. Numerous obstacles, some of
which are powerful enough to destroy you, and will unavoidably come your way,
ranging from a lack of understanding and experience to burnouts.
This business enterprise was purposely established for the particular reason of
the market’s demand for a soap that suits any skin type, and because the soap is made
up of mostly organic ingredients, thus, people who have sensitive skin don’t need to
worry about it. More than that is because most teenagers are undergoing a hormonal
imbalance; both males and females. Which is just normal for them, however, they
don’t need to suffer from those when there is a suited answer for that. In addition,
hormonal imbalance causes pimples and acnes. Some researchers suggest that pimples
affect nearly everyone at some time during their lives. They’re most common during
adolescence, but adults may have them, too.
If you don’t have a plan, you are doomed to fail. When there is a problem
surely there’s also a solution for that. Consequently, as students in STEM field the
product administrators generated an idea that would elucidate the aforementioned
problems by applying chemistry, providing a solution to it. And that is natural soap is
best for acne because it is gentle on the skin and contains no toxic substances. It was
removed dirt, bacteria, and dead skin cells from the skin without destroying the natural
sebum found in your skin cells. This means that your sebaceous glands will not panic
because all of the sebum will not be stripped off your skin, causing them to
overproduce. By definition, soap by nature is antibacterial. The soap loosens the dirt
from the skin, which is then suspended within the soap. When you wash away the
soap, you also wash away the bacteria that is present in the soap. All of this is done
without the use of antibacterial chemicals like triclosan.
In terms of Target Market, there are four sets of them according to their
socioeconomic status (i.e., Teaching and Non-teaching staff, Students, and Residents)
These consumers have the opportunity of purchasing both a unique product and a cost-

effective soap from the proprietor's store that is also silky, smooth, and efficient. The
proprietors claim that the faculty, staff, and students of the Godofredo M. Tan
Integrated School of Arts and Trades are the product's target market alongside those
who reside outside the school premises.
In today's generation, many people now are more inclined to chemically
synthetic products especially when comes to skincare products because they believe
that it has a faster effect and you can easily see the results. With that being said the
rivalry among the existing firm is not an organic and home-made soap because as we
all know it is not yet distinguished here in our town, consequently, the product
administrators presume that the competitors of their product are the soap are purely
chemically and synthetically made such as; Brilliant skin and Kaguyaku soap which
is renowned due to effectiveness, demand, and wide range of distribution.

As first-time entrepreneurs, the product administrators undeniably have a longlong way to go, nevertheless, they are determined to raise and build their own career
path from scratch especially those who are planning to pursue a business-related field.

A. Description of the Business
Since soap was the inspiration for the product's basis, the product
administrators considered this type of enterprise as an outgrowth. The combination of
coffee, aloe vera extract, and vitamin E diluted in rice water is well demonstrated
through this product. To differentiate this simple product from the competition, the
product managers chose to include new features.
Since this business plan proposal included numerous members, the product
administrators regarded the company in some legal terms as a corporation. The
Administrators called it "Co-Loe-Gel-E-R/Coloegeler," and it contains the following
ingredients: first, black coffee, which has anti-aging, anti-oxidant, and antiinflammatory properties that can help our skin fight sunburn diseases; second, aloe
vera extract, which helps moisturize our skin and unclog pores while softening the
skin; third, vitamin E capsules, which can lighten dark spots and prevent skin
discoloration; and fourth, rice water that can tighten skin and acts as a natural toner
for acne healing. The administrators are searching for the Godofredo M. Tan
Integrated School of Arts and Trades' target market; Given to its population, residents,
students, Teaching and non-teaching personnel have the opportunity to serve a larger
client base.
On the 19th of November 2022, the product administrators decided to begin
this. Mr. Jericho Carabido is the pioneer of this invention, and with the assistance of
his fellow members, they have developed it. Mr. Carl Shallom Delfino came up with
the notion for the product's namesake, the "Coloegeler." The administrators believe
that having direct access to customers and the ability to question them directly about
the quality and impact of a new product will allow them to easily determine whether
or not the product will be profitable.
The product administrators calculated the total cost of the product to arrive
at the selling cost. Subsequently, the administrators searched for a profit that had a
moderate-income value with the owner's profit accounting for 58% of the total cost.

The owners have enough share or money contributions to support the product because
the product is consumed of a bit pricey cost value. Despite that, the product is on good
trend status because of its uniqueness and innovative concept. To make the business
more profitable the admins will use different strategies of skills to sell the product to
the customers, these strategies are being competitive, approachable, and a good seller.

B. Product/Services
This product, which goes by the name "Co-Loe-Ge-L-E-R/Coloegeler," contains
black coffee as its first ingredient, which has anti-aging, anti-oxidant, and antiinflammatory properties that can help our skin combat sunburn disturbances. Aloe vera
extract softens and hydrates our skin while unclogging pores. Thirdly, vitamin E pills
can help fade dark spots and protect our skin from deterioration caused by harmful UV
rays. Rice water not only treats oiliness and blemishes but also helps to tighten the skin
and lighten scars which are specially made for persons who are suffering because of
sensitive skin. The proprietors advertise the product as being of great quality due to its
value and the fact that it can be purchased for ₱ 20 per piece. With this soap, you can
assure to maintain healthy, and soft skin. To provide the best service quality, the
proprietors will make sure that the staff of this business are in good and great in terms
of customer service because of the owner's ability to do anything related to customer
service.
Given the owners' consideration of the product's worth or purpose for the
business, which is to preserve the softness of the customers' skin, in addition to its
potential for profit, this product has an edge over alternatives in terms of competition.
As it's the only item in GMTISAT that is "Co-Loe-Gel-E-R/Coloegeler," which
contains diverse components beneficial for healthy skin, the product is unique. Another
indication that the company is unique is the name of the product. Due to the numerous
advantages described above in terms of customer service, product quality, and
inexpensive prices irrespective of its new appearance in the market, the owners will
make sure that the clients will like the product to persuade them to buy it.

Table 2. Demonstrates the target market of this enterprise.
These clients can purchase from the proprietor's business an original item
as well as a cost-effective soap that is smooth, silky, and effective at the same time.
The target market for this business product, according to the owners, is the Godofredo
M. Tan Memorial School of Arts and Trades faculties and staff and other residents.
To determine whether this market is expanding, the owners will begin to distribute
the product to the target market namely; Teaching and Non-teaching staff, Students,
and residents outside the school premises. The owners as a corporation give the shares
for the complete cost or capital of the product to make up the necessary capital. Due
to the high demand from the large customer base, the share will alter if production
increases. However, the owners will use it as a chance to attract big clients.
Due to their focus on a small number of populations and clients, the owners
are underserving several user categories, but they promise you that there will always
be opportunities in the face of competition. As a good competitor, the owners offer
chances to cater to underserved customer categories. The success of the business
depends on the industry prognosis, and the owners believe that this outlook is good
because they are dedicated to making their products better than those of their rivals.

To establish the target market for the goods, the owners first listed those
three characteristics. Their origin, age and generation, gender, income, marital status,
education, and property ownership are a few examples of demographic profiles that
characterize who they are as people. Consumers' preferences, behaviors, viewpoints,
values, and attitudes are among their psychographic segmentation. Information on the
location, characteristics and connections of distinct geographic futures are included in
geographical data. If the seller's goods or services are weather-dependent, geographic
attributes allow them to divide the market based on elements like weather, population,
market size, the wider world, or a particular state.
The
consumers
consider
many
customer-related
variables
when
determining the market descriptors in GMTIMSAT and outside the school premises.
The owners are hypothesizing that the target market has no coffee, aloe vera, and rice
water allergies according to their psychographic segmentation. As per the result from
their psychographic segmentation, consumers are more inclined to buy the product
because it is a good item and it is new to have an organic soap and they tend to buy
the product because it is a favorable gift especially now that it is Christmas season
which is related to the fact that the owners' products are appropriate for the market.
The owners' product was suited for the site within the school because of the student
population and curiosity, so the customers will be intrigued to try and purchase the
owners' product.

The table above clearly demonstrates the criticism of the overall respondents of the
conducted survey regarding the product Coloegeler soap. The survey questionnaire was
divided into 7 questions. It was found out that;
The first question actively demonstrates the overall weighted average mean of 3.4
elucidated as the satisfactory level in terms of the product’s packaging. The packaging is
an important part of every brand as it is the one that is seen anticipatorily and as a
protection of what it contains.
The second question has yielded an average of 3.15 which is interpreted as the level
of satisfactory from the respondents when comes to the fragrance of the Cologeler soap.
As the product was a beauty care brand specifically a soap, thus, smell is undeniably a
great factor to consider.
Based on the second question, it certifies the level of the conjugated result in terms
of the product’s texture which was rated with an average of 3.6 level of satisfactory.
Texture acts as the sensory experience of a cosmetic product based on its appearance,
either silky or coarse-grained are both necessary textures.
The fourth question authenticates the color of the product which gained an average
of 3.25 satisfactory level. Colorants are essentially used for making products appealing
and attractive. Additionally, they're also used for adding a presentable appearance to the
product.
The fifth question ratifies the perception of the respondents concerning with the
various design of the Coloegeler soap that received an overall weighted average
satisfactory level of 3.75. The design of every product speaks for what it is, with just a
mere glance costumer already had their perception to it, so it should be planned correctly
according to the market demand.

Question six confirms the generated response of the respondents relating to the
latherness of the soap that attained an overall mean of 3.65 satisfactory level. Soap lather,
which suspends dirt by creating greater surface tension in water, traps dirt for easy
removal through rinsing.
The last question verifies the totality of the absolute weighted average mean of 3.4
satisfactory level in the matter of the soap’s size. The size soap should also be considered
as a vital factor because this will determine how long the soap would last.

D. Marketing Plan
Traditionally, a marketing plan includes the four P's: Product, Price, Place, and
Promotion. For a soap-making business plan, your plan should include the following:
Marketing
Plan
Promotion
Product
Price
Place
In terms of formulating the product, the product administrators put into
consideration various factors (i.e., capital, time allotment, manpower, transportation,
the assortment of the product, uniqueness, and availability) since the product
administrators are still students who are dependent in terms of financial stability to their
families, and are still studying.
In line with this, the price was based on the following ingredients; coffee, aloe
vera gel, vitamin E, and rice water. In determining the price of product, the product
administrators came up with to sell ₱20 pesos each of the Coloegeler Soap but it is also
available in packages, the small one with 3 pieces costs ₱50.75 pesos and the large one
is ₱85.50 pesos with 5 pieces. It may be a bit pricey for its size, however, it is because
the soap was homemade, and mostly made of organic and natural ingredients.
In that sense, the approximate daily sale is ₱2,800.00, with a profit of ₱1,036.00.
Deducted to it is daily revenue of the workers of 11 members a total of ₱550.00 and ₱

40.00 from the variable and fixed costs for every two production a day, with that, the

On the other way around, the soap was made at Building 1009 Household
number 0046 Brgy. Pagkakaisa, San Narciso, Quezon. Wherein this product will be
stocked and the transaction will be operated. The aforementioned setting will also
serve as the place as the walk-in store for buyers. In addition to that, the customers can
also order online through messaging the affiliated various social media platforms.
Furthermore, in a sense of promotional strategies, the administrators came to
thinking of distributing infographics related to the product that contains the
information that the customers need to know (e.g., benefits, ingredients,
contents/size/grams, directions, and precautionary measures). Moreover, to make the
product more remarkable, the product administrators will include their self-made
tagline which goes, “In your skin, we care!”. In line with this, They created an online
shop; Facebook page at https://www.coloegeler.soap.corp, Instagram @j.olea_0 and
an E-mail account at carabidojericho@gmail.com that will serve for the online
transaction or online selling. For inquiries, they can visit the product's website at
https://coloegeler-soap.my.canva.site here, they will post promotional videos and
visual illustrations regarding the product. The corporation is also open for partnership
and possible distributors that would likely want to be either whole seller or
retailer/reseller of the Coloegeler soap for its promulgation.
Even though the product is a bit pricey, many customers will be intrigued to buy
it because of its uniqueness and the fact that it is newly available in the market. It is
not like the other typical soaps that we use daily which are almost made up of synthetic
ingredients. The only non-organic ingredient that Coloegeler Soap has is the vitaminE capsule and Aloe Vera extract. With all these being said, the uniqueness of the
product is observed.

F. Competition
To begin with, the product administrators think that the product being one of a
kind and new to the market is the primary edge of this business enterprise. As we all
know, the town of San Narciso, Quezon has not yet produced a soap that was
incorporated various ingredients; both synthetic (i.e., aloe vera extract and vitamin-E
capsule) and organic (i.e., coffee and cured rice water). Organic soap is simply better
for your skin. It contains natural ingredients such as plant-derived base oils, glycerin,
and essential oils. By contrast, synthetic, mass-market soap is made of petroleum-based
lathering agents, synthetic fragrances, harsh dyes, and dangerous preservatives. It’s not
surprising, then, that a lot of our customers say that their skin feels better after using
organic soap, and that it sometimes helps to improve skin conditions such as eczema
and acne, rather than producing further irritation. Putting that into consideration, these
ingredients have benefits for the skin. In such a manner, this would open a new door of
opportunities for business owners. Studying the Competition could simplify the
valuable lessons from people who have come before you. How did they produce more
at once? How were their batches improved? What errors did they commit that you can
prevent? When you are growing your soap business, it is essential to learn from both
your own mistakes and those of others.
In the current circumstance, it is bothersome to find a soap that suits your skin
that is homemade and naturally formulated. That is why the product administrators
came up with the idea to generate the aforementioned product. The availability or
demand of the product was made possible by the product administrators themselves, in
such a way of capital contribution to arrive at the requisite fund even though they
somewhat lack in terms of financial stability.
A lot of people can say that the product is a bit ambitious because the ingredients
that were utilized are also pricey, however, the admins did not look nor consider that in
as much as they are aiming for something new and innovative, and in a sense that this

G. Management and Operation
Because it will be the proprietors' commencement corporate offering, it is
undeniable that the owners lack managerial qualifications. Nevertheless, to gain more
managerial experience, the holders will do preliminary research about what would be
the feasibility of success in terms of salesmanship, either way, the product
administrators can ask for some recommendations from connoisseurs or those who are
experts when it comes to establishing a business enterprise; such as the TVE Teachers
that teaches Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, then, they can also do an in-depth online
investigation from online sources namely online tutorials.
Generally, there are seven prominent functional departments in this type of
business. The lines include; management, sales, research and development, customer
service, marketing and finance, human resources, and production which are vital for the
betterment of the business flow. Having that in our mind, these positions are not just
simple or easy tasks, that is why the above-mentioned positions were given to those
who can handle them, take accountability and perform his/her responsibility. The
Management was tasked with Mr. Jericho Carabido by their entrepreneurship leader.
From then on Mr. Carabido divided the remaining positions among the other members,
the sales were assigned to Mr. Jojo Morada because under it are the marketing and
finance which they believed that Mr. Morada can perform well and handle that certain
department. The research and development were assigned to Mr. Carl Delfino in the
sense that he can apply his knowledge in systematic research in this project. Under the
sales area is customer service which is given to Ms. Leonita Benzal and Ms. Donella
Olandesca they have a skill when comes to assisting the customer and answering
queries from them. Marketing was given to Ms. Ailyn Genton. After all, she's the one
who regulates and buys the materials needed, and the Finance was given to Ms. Shairah
Dublin because she has background knowledge when comes to auditing financial
records. Human resources were given to Mr. John Paul Arenas and Mr. Jethro Lee mas.
And last but certainly not least among the departments is the Production, they are the

ones who are responsible for designing and creating the necessary prototypes regarding
the business and this is given to Ms. Jaybe Olea and Ms. Bianca Carabot.
In a business, it is not avoidable to encounter inaccuracies when comes to
composing and writing a paper works. Concerning the possible fallacies and
misconceptions, all members are encouraged to ask for assistance from the manager
who is acting as the pioneering operator of the said business.
Concerning the distribution of the salary, the sales and finance will take over
it, because they are the ones who have expertise when it comes to this area. The
rationale for income varies based upon the business revenue in a day, the salary will be
estimated by applying the formula of the revenue in a day divided by the hours of
workmanship. The result obtained by dividing one quantity by another will then be
divided into the number of workers.
Daily Amount = approx. ₱1,036.00
Hours of work = 5
₱1,036.00 = 518/11 = (₱50.00 is the daily income of the workers)

H. Personnel
The individuals who work for the firm are referred to as the person; in some ways,
the individuals who work for the company are the staff. The workforce currently needs
training to be engaged in meticulous skills that could aid in knowledge expansion and
talent enhancement. Likewise, individuals will need important roles as well as good
income for their career path.
Many factors must have in establishing a business. From the good quality of
products, their uniqueness, and timeliness, relevance to the current situation to its very
critical factor its effectiveness. Aside from the above-mentioned, there is an exceptional
way of enticing your customers and that is none other than effective communication
skills, no matter how trendy the product that you sell if you cannot convince people to
choose your product basically, it would be useless. Another thing is being a natural
problem solver. No matter how accurate and precise your business plan is you can't get
away with having a problem that is inevitable at work, tasks involving personnel must
be prioritized to be completed quickly even if time does not allow for the completion
of all tasks on the list. Although many employees are born with certain skills, they must
study more to make them better. Additionally, having organized employees will ensure
that the work is always completed in a manner that will maximize sales for the
company. It is advantageous if a person has leadership potential since they will put it
to good use in a managerial capacity for the benefit of effective business management.
Being a leader involves asking for assistance from the team when necessary and
allocating tasks fairly. Personnel must be flexible because simply something has been
done a certain way in the past doesn't mean it has to be done that way going forward.
The staff is always open to fresh suggestions for tasks involving the staff.
The proprietors will offer various pieces of training relating to those talents if
the staff does not already possess them. To assess the staff's abilities, the owners will
conduct a test. The proprietors will make sure that the required individuals are on site
for the availability of the staff.

The compensation or the salary will be computed based on the personnel's daily
amount in the business, here is the example:
Daily Amount = approx. ₱1,036.00
Hours of work = 5
₱1,036.00 = 518/11 = (₱50.00 is the daily income of the workers)
All of the daily necessities of the workers such as; Food, water, etc., will be
under the liability and obligation of the business owners themselves. The
aforementioned necessities won't be deducted from their daily revenue. And if some
unwanted things happened inside the factory or plant, it would charge the accountability
of the business enterprise, they will be subjected to immediate check-ups and will still
receive their daily revenue.

I. Application and effect of Loan and Investment
Although the owners' business is not substantial enough and the owners are
discussing whether the enterprise can be profitable or not, the amount of money invested
in the owners' business rose to a whopping ₱1,190 from each member's equated
contribution. The owners will continue to make and sell the product if it is profitable. The
proprietors may, however, make improvements to the company if it is not profitable to
fulfill the utmost consumer’s expectations for a quality product.
This company will need to put up this much money, ₱4,410.00 And to do that they’ll
be needing to produce 70 pieces of Coloegeler multiplied 5 times which is 350 pieces all
and all to arrive at the requisite overall revenue of ₱7,000.00 with a profit of ₱2,590.00
deducted to the daily income of the 11 workers of ₱50.00 each of them with the total of
₱550.00. Moreover, the amount of money that will remain in the company would be
₱2,000.00. Having that in our mind, within the span of 6 months, the presumed requisite
fund would be, ₱116,424.00, in order to make 46,200 pieces of the Coloegeler soap, to
get a total sale of ₱924,000.00, deducting the fixed cost and variable costs of ₱5,280.00,
the total expenses of the company which ₱116.000.00, and the daily income of the
workers with a total of ₱72,600.00. With that being said the total revenue of the company
in the projected 6 months would be, ₱729,696.00. For clarification, the previously
mentioned computation is the projection of the cash flow in 5 months on the company’s
bases. There’s already a place that will serve as the space they need to run the business
which they don’t need to pay rent for. The product administrators will profit more as a
result of this. The team believes that this business is a good one to start in San Narciso,
Quezon to provide quality and affordable service to the locals. Although there’s already
an existing competitor, they will provide special offers to customers to help the business
boost.
A loan is several funds borrowed, whereas an investment is a quantity of capital
invested for revenue or profit. The owners want to develop and increase the company's

profitability with the investment. The loan or investment is more advantageous for the
business and occasionally generates more money because of the interest in the company.

made. Within a month, the owners will pay off all of their debt.
