opening scene. Is it too long and tedious?
2. What is your view of Jack’s relationship with Rose? Is it really love or merely lust?
3. What is the secret of Jurassic Park’s universal appeal to audiences of all kinds?
4. Critically review any film you had watched recently. Are our vernacular films realistic or
irritatingly farcical?
5. Do Satellite TV channels like Discovery and National Geographic merit to be called Learning
Channels? If so provide some evidence from their programmes telecast recently?
6. What are the major factors and skills needed for effective public speaking?
7. What are the major factors necessary for effectiveness in a group discussion?
8. Prepare a draft of a speech with an arresting introduction, four major ideas with examples and a
memorable. Conclusion on the following topic:
“Is India shining or Suffering”?
9. Identify the major obstacles to listening? Why is listening attentively very important to a
participant in a group discussion?
10. Imagine yourself as a member taking part in a group discussion with four participants an the
following topic “Hardwork and Selflessness alone can turn us into a developed country”
