One of our PRC agenda items this morning is a debrief of the 20092010 process and begin discussing changes for Fall 2010. We
thought that one piece of information that will inform our discussion
of this agenda item is the draft Integrated Planning Model in front of
the College Council for approval.
This draft model was a result of a lot collaborative and lengthy
discussion by members of the College Council about the PRC adopted
IPM and the IPM suggested by the administration. We hope you will
see, in this draft model, that the College Council kept a lot of the
conceptual framework developed by the PRC, made the role of the
PRC more prominent, brought important processes to the forefront,
honored the role of Academic Senate in faculty prioritization and
program initiation, and clearly linked all processes to the budget.
